About Us
Company History
Recycling Express, Inc. was founded in 1991 in Frazer, PA, to provide recycling collection services to business and households as PA Act 101 was implemented by municipalities across Pennsylvania. Original service areas included Central Chester County and the Main Line, with expansion into Montgomery County, Western Delaware County, and Center City Philadelphia by 1994.
The company acquired the assets of Paper Chase, a Quakertown based recycler, in late 1994 and established a recycling processing center in Montgomeryville in 1995. The expanded service area included Alllentown, Northern Montgomery County and Bucks County. The plant operations were closed in 1998 to focus primarily on recycling collection services operated out of Frazer, PA.
In 1997, the company purchased the assets of Delaware Recycling Solutions, a Wilmington, DE, based recycler, and established Recycling Express of Delaware with a field office in Newport, DE, serving customers in Northern New Castle, Southern Chester and Southern Delaware Counties.
For the past 21 years, the employees of Recycling Express have built a solid foundation of customers that include property management companies, law and accounting firms, schools, architects, manufacturers and many types of businesses. Our reputation for timely and courteous service are unequaled in our service areas.
